This resort is a series of high rise towers surrounding a private lake. There is parking by each tower, and there are several fantastic pool areas. Each night we would visit a different pool or lazy river and the kids were amazed at how great they all were. We also had a villa (which at first we were upset that overlooked the parking area) but that we discovered gave us a fantastic view of the Disney fireworks each night.
I forgot to mention that this resort is located on Disney property, not far from the Hess gas station and fire house. The resort isn't part of Disney's theme parks so the Disney busses don't drive by every hour, but the resort does offer bus transport to the parks.
The villas here are absolutely beautiful! I don't think we've ever stayed at a timeshare with units that are this nice.. We rented a one bedroom villa, but were upgraded to a two bedroom by the front desk at check in. It was amazing! Best $600 we ever spent (our Disney villa cost us more than $2,000 about a year ago).
We normally spend time every day at the theme parks and the water parks, but this year saved two days to just relaz at the resort. It made for a much better trip, since there were still plenty of activities and things to do without ever leaving the property. We did take a cab to Universal Studios which we had never visited before to see the Harry Potter world. It was great fun to see the kids faces as it really seems like we were walking through the movie. We waited about an hour for the Harry Potter ride, but in the end it was worth it. There was also a small roller coaster that was Hagrid's Hut or something that the small kids could ride.. It was a great day!
Not sure what else to say except we had a great time.
