When we walked into our timeshare villa for the first time we were really impressed. It was a two bedroom suite with a full size living room, full size kitchen, two bathrooms and a lovely balcony. Seriously, it’s as big and comfortable as our own home. With the kitchen, we’ve been able to make regular meals which is perfect for us because my husband is diabetic. The beds are really comfortable. There’s a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. The rooms have flat screen TVs and WIFI. The view from our balcony was great. We can see the tops of the Disney parks and see the fireworks at night.
There are five great pools, some with water slides for the kids (and for kids at heart), an activities room, a playground, ping pong and billiards, and there is also a full fitness center in each tower. The resort offers activities all throughout the day – ice-cream socials, bingo games, karaoke, music, and arts and crafts. It’s been a pleasure to just hang out here. Normally, we can't wait to get away from the cramped motel room!
My kids really liked the water slides. Our tower pool has a huge pirate ship with a water slide and several hot tubs. The tower next to us has a nice Lazy River feature and a zero entry pool that was only about three feet deep and perfect for young kids. My youngest has really gotten much better at swimming from our stay.
The pools all have bars and restaurants, but the beauty of staying here is that we just stopped at a grocery store and cooked full meals in our rooms. They have huge gas grills in pavilions by the lake for anyone who wants to grill outside. We made burgers, fish and hot dogs. In the mornings, I’ve been preparing french toast and cereal for my kids. For lunch, we pack sandwiches to take to the parks. It’s been a huge savings on the food bill.
On the trip home, everyone was smiling and seemed really happy and relaxed. I asked several people their thoughts about staying here and they only had positive things to say. And my kids…if you ask them they would tell you they had a great time on the water slides:
